Lagomhuset
Swedish "lagom" is one of those special words that doesn't translate directly into English but we feel it is an important word to know - especially for your holiday! It is a feeling of not too much, not too little, but just right.
It is a feeling of balance and peace and many things can bring on this feeling to you. We hope your stay with us will be one of them. Lagomhuset is a traditional Swedish home, fully equipped to provide you and your family with an unforgettable holiday. We live nearby and operate a tour business, Thorsen Tours.

Information can also be found in your holiday home. Vidsel is a friendly, quiet village in the North of Sweden. Here there is a local grocery store called Tempo with most of the essentials you will need for your stay.
It is located just a few minute drive or short walk away from your home. Vidsel also has a café, second hand shop, pizzeria, hair salon, self service fuel pump and mechanic. Storforsen Nature Reserve is located just 7km from Vidsel.
The rapids and surrounding nature reserve are beautiful all year rounds.
There are many grilling pits and places to explore also a small gift shop full of local goods. The Pite River flows through Vidsel.
A bathing place is located in the village where you can enjoy a nice swim in the cool waters and relax by the fire pit or play some beach volleyball in the Summer. The backyard connects directly to the cross country ski tracks in Winter and nice walking trails in the Summer. There are many lakes and mountains within short driving distance that provide beautiful scenery that we will be happy to share with you. Larger grocery stores and shops are located in Älvsbyn, roughly 30 minutes drive away. The village areas can be accessed by foot or by car. Parking included at the house in the driveway or garage.
There is a bus that runs from Vidsel to Älvsbyn. If you cause damage to the property during your stay, you may be required to pay according to YourRentals’s property damage policy.

Wir hatte dort ein paar schöne Tage. Das Haus wurde sogar Weihnachtlich geschmückt. Es war sehr gemütlich. Das kleine Örtchen ist sehr schön und Ruhig. Und in der Nähe gibt es ein paar Sehenswürdigkeiten die sich lohnen.

Sonya and Ken were great hosts and we really enjoyed our stay at their home in Vidsel. We were also able to book a wonderful tour to Storforsen to see the rapids and we had a nice meal over an open fire. The house was very clean and communication was very easy. We will definitely be back.
